It is with great sadness that we note the passing of our distinguished colleague, Adam Dziewonski.  Since joining Harvard in 1972, Adam continuously performed field-defining research in seismology and geophysics more broadly.  Adam remained highly productive and engaged in his research until his recent illness.  Please follow this link for more information about this remarkable man and his contributions to the Earth sciences community.
