NASA awarded two 2014 Earth and Space Science Fellowships to graduate students in the EPS community: Karen McKinnon for her proposal titled, “An Examination of Earth's Seasonal Heat Budget” and Kathryn McKain for her proposal titled, “Synthesis of In Situ and Remote Sensing Observations for Constraining Fossil-Fuel Carbon-Dioxide Emissions from an Urban Corridor”.
