Gourab Ghoshal got his undergraduate and master's degrees in theoretical physics from the University of London, UK. He then completed his PhD in Statistical Physics under the supervision of Prof. Mark Newman at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Following this, he was a postdoctoral research scientist at the Center for Complex Networks Research headed by Prof. A.-L. Barabasi and a visiting research scholar at the Media Lab at M.I.T in the group of Alex "Sandy" Pentland. His research has been published in Nature, Science and Physical Review Letters.
Research Interests: Complex Systems (primarily in the theory and applications of networks) as well as Game Theory, Econophysics, Non-equilibrium Statistical Physics and Dynamical Systems.
