Professor Huybers will host a discussion on a recent paper by Resplandy et al. (2018), "Quantification of ocean heat uptake from changes in atmospheric O2 and CO2 composition". The authors posted corrections on RealClimate that lower the ocean heat uptake estimates and widen the uncertainty, but I think it will still be interesting to consider this potentially independent means of constraining ocean heat uptake.Paper # 1, Paper # 2
