In Memoriam – Jim McCarthy 1944 – 2019

It is with a very heavy heart that we note the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Jim McCarthy, who passed away on December 11th after a long pulmonary illness. Engaged and brilliant to the end, Jim was an example of the very best that we all aspire to as both a scholar and human being.
