Three EPS Seniors Awarded Hoopes Prizes!

Congratulations to Sophie-An Kingsbury Lee, Elisabeth Ngo, and Logan Wilson for winning Hoopes Prizes for their senior theses this year! The Hoopes Prize is an annual award given to undergraduates on the basis of outstanding scholarly work or research. Winners are awarded $5,000, and their theses are bound and available to view in Lamont Library for two years.

- Elisabeth Ngo – “Aztec Tradition, Contemporary Trouble: The Rise and Degradation of Chinampa Agriculture in the Basin of Mexico” – supervised and nominated by Professor William Fash
- Logan Wilson – “Protoplanetary Disk Inheritance and the Evolution of Small-Exoplanet Atmospheres” – supervised and nominated by Professor Robin Wordsworth
