Department tutorials provide a chance for EPS concentrators and prospective students alike to meet with EPS faculty in an informal setting. In addition to learning about the variety of research opportunities available within EPS, the tutorials are also a great way to meet other students interested in earth and planetary sciences.

Our April 7 presenter is Professor Elsie Sunderland, whose research focuses on how biogeochemical processes affect the fate, transport and food web bioaccumulation of trace metals and organic chemicals.

All EPS concentrators are required to attend five tutorials before graduation. If you are interested in an EPS concentration but haven’t declared yet, your attendances will be retroactively counted toward the five attendance policy, whenever you end up declaring.
