Geological Society

Since January 1919, the Geological Society has provided a social and academic haven for undergraduates in Harvard’s Earth and Planetary Sciences department.

For over a century, the Geological Society has helped EPS foster a vibrant, tight-knit community of students through their undergraduate career, providing a social connection in addition to creating a supportive space for academic and professional advancement.

Activities include everything from ice cream socials and movie nights in Harvard’s Visualization Lab to panels of graduate students discussing the process of applying to a PhD program.

Whether you are looking to learn about the best classes to take or simply make friends and have fun with other students who share your interest, GeoSoc has you covered.

The club is open to all associated undergraduates, including primary, double, and joint concentrators, as well as students pursuing an EPS secondary field.
