Congratulations to Francis Macdonald for being named the 2014 recipient of the Geological Society of America’s Donath Medal! This award is given “to a young scientist for outstanding achievement in contributing to geologic knowledge through original research that marks a major advance in the earth sciences.” Great work Francis!
