Jim Rice Receives Theodore von Karman Medal

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has announced that Professor Jim Rice will be this year’s recipient of the Theodore von Karman Medal.  The award is intended to honor “distinguished achievements in engineering mechanics”.  The Harvard Gazette feature on the award is available here.   Please join us in congratulating  Jim on this significant honor!
