Postdoctoral Fellow
Yu Cheng is a postdoctoral fellow in the McColl Group. His research has focused on developing new theories and parameterizations of turbulence in the atmospheric boundary layer, constructing machine learning-based subgrid-scale turbulence modeling, and investigating the sensitivity of clouds to changing surface conditions through high-resolution numerical simulations, novel field experiments and theoretical derivation.
